Middle School Youth Connection (6th through 8th grade)

What is it?  At Middle School Youth Connection we teach our teenagers the good news about Jesus as He is offered in the Bible so they can make a life-changing connection with God, their classmates, and godly Christian adults. Our teachers use a solid, biblical curriculum that incorporates Bible memory, catechism questions and answers, and other elements designed to accomodate a variety of learning styles.

When does it meet?  Sunday mornings at 9am, September through May.

Where does it meet?  In Room D-03. As you come in the main doors, turn left down the long hallway. Room D-03 is the last room on the left before the end of the hall.

 
High School Youth Connection (9th through 12th grade)

What is it?  At High School Youth Connection we teach our teenagers the good news about Jesus as He is offered in the Bible so they can make a life-changing connection with God, their classmates, and godly Christian adults. Our teachers use a solid, biblical curriculum that incorporates Bible study, discussion, DVD teaching, and other elements designed to accomodate a variety of learning styles.

When does it meet?  Sunday mornings at 9am, September through May.

Where does it meet?  In Room D-05. As you come in the main doors, turn left down the long hallway. Room D-05 is the last room on the right before the end of the hall.

 
The Gathering (Sunday Night Youth Group)

What is it?  At The Gathering our 6th through 12th grade students get together in The Multipurpose Room for fun friendship building, singing praises to God, hearing from God's Word, and praying together.  We conclude our time with refreshments and conversation. The Gathering meets on the 1st Sunday night of each month. See LIFE Groups (below) to find out what happens on the other Sunday nights each month.

When does it meet?  Usually the FIRST Sunday night of the month, from 6 to 7:30pm.

Where does it meet?  In the Multipurpose Room (D-04). As you come in the main doors, turn left down the long hallway. Room D-04 is the large, last room at the end of the hall, with double doors.

 

Middle School LIFE Group

What is it? All of our 6th through 8th grade students (guys and girls) get together in The Multipurpose Room for fun friendship building, singing praises to God, hearing from God's Word, and praying together. We conclude our time with refreshments and conversation.

When does it meet? On the 2nd through 4th (sometimes 5th) Sunday nights from 6 to 8pm. (NOTE: On the 1st Sunday night of the month we meet with the High School students for The Gathering in the Multipurpose Room in the Main Building . . . see The Gathering above.)

High School LIFE Groups (Discipleship Small Groups)

What are they?  LIFE Groups are small groups of High School teenagers (girls only, guys only) that meet weekly for encouragement, Bible study, and prayer.  Our youth ministry staff adults spend this time helping our teenagers learn what it means to walk with Jesus on a daily basis right where they live, study, and play.

When do they meet?  On the 2nd through 4th (sometimes 5th) Sunday nights from 6 to 8pm.  (NOTE: On the 1st Sunday night of the month we meet for The Gathering in the Multipurpose Room in the Main Building . . . see The Gathering above.)

Where do they meet?  LIFE Groups meet in various homes.  Contact the Church Office to find out more.

 

Other Activities and Events

Throughout the year we join other youth groups from the North Texas Presbytery for events and activities that build our faith and our friendships, including the NTP Fall Retreat (November), Broomball at the Galleria, Lock-In at Group Dynamics, Hard Questions - Real Answers (Summer), and others.  Check the Church Calendar for these opportunities.
